Assistant Tennis Professional

Responsibilities

• Assist Tennis Professionals with group lessons, private lessons, junior tennis programs, and camps
• Provide hitting sessions for members or act as a hitter during professional-led lessons
• Participate in and help promote club programs, mixers, tournaments, round robins, and social competitive events
• Interact with employees, members, and guests in alignment with Village Standards

Requirements

• High level of competitive tennis playing experience
• Ability to feed balls and provide basic tennis instruction
• Strong customer service focus and attitude
• Ability to obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire
• Ability to successfully pass a background check
• Ability to perform physical activities including standing, running, and repetitive tennis motions in outdoor weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience working in a tennis club environment
• Previous experience teaching tennis
• Collegiate tennis playing experience
