Assistant Technician

Responsibilities

• Support engine maintenance tasks including preparation, cleaning, tool handling, and component movement under direct supervision
• Adhere to all aviation safety, quality, and HS&E requirements, including the proper use of PPE
• Report unsafe conditions or defects immediately and support accurate documentation and record-keeping
• Participate in on-the-job training and classroom sessions to develop foundational engine MRO knowledge
• Demonstrate professional conduct, teamwork, and accountability within the engine operations department

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational or technical training in aviation, aeronautical engineering, MRO, or a related technical field
• Foundational understanding of aero engine maintenance concepts
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work under supervision
• Basic IT skills for documentation and logging
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn
