Assistant Technical Designer

Responsibilities

• Support the Fit Team throughout the sample lifecycle by managing measurements and spec templates
• Measure all samples with high accuracy and enter data onto spec templates
• Set up samples in the fit room and prepare products for efficient fit sessions
• Take thorough notes, photos, and measurements during fit sessions to assist Technical Designers
• Assist with processing final fit comments and assembling required alterations
• Manage sample logistics, including returning borrowed samples and participating in monthly purges
• Measure TOP samples to confirm spec compliance and assist in TOP try-on sessions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Technical Design
• Degree in Fashion with a specialization in Technical Design
• Proficiency in G-Suite and Microsoft Office (Illustrator experience is a plus)
• Ability to use a tape measure accurately using both decimals and fractions
• Strong knowledge of knit and woven fabrics
• Exposure to pattern-making, sewing, and garment fittings
• Ability to manage large volumes of samples and lift up to thirty pounds
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
