Assistant Teaching Professor - Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Teach a standard load of seven courses per academic year across undergraduate, MBA, and MS in Supply Chain Management programs
• Deliver instruction in core areas including principles of SCM, logistics analytics, mathematical modeling, project management, and technology in SCM
• Create experiential learning opportunities that connect students with real-world supply chain challenges
• Collaborate on the development of innovative curricula regarding digital supply chain management, sustainability, and resilience
• Provide dedicated student mentoring, advising, and support through independent studies and internships
• Participate in departmental, school, and university service activities and committees

Requirements

• Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, MBA, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness or high potential for teaching excellence at the university level
• Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, project management, and SCM sustainability
• Proficiency with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making processes
• Expertise in optimization software (e.g., Excel Solver) and statistical programming in Python, R, or similar tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry experience in supply chain management, logistics, or operations
• Experience with experiential learning, case method teaching, or project-based courses
• Professional certifications in Supply Chain (e.g., ASCM, CSCMP)
• Proven track record of curriculum innovation and course development
• Experience collaborating with industry partners or research centers
