Assistant Teaching Professor - Statistics

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics
• Act as the Course Supervisor for the statistics sequences to ensure uniformity, appropriateness, and continuity of course material
• Mentor and advise students at various academic levels
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Consult with other STEM departments regarding the statistics sequence
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to support the university's mission

Requirements

• Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field
• Strong undergraduate teaching track record
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to teach a wide variety of courses
• Strong commitment to student success and a collaborative academic environment
