Requirements
PhD or PsyD in School Psychology or related field, Active NYS Psychologist licensure or eligibility, Ability to obtain NYS licensure within 6 months
About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach up to six courses annually, including undergraduate courses in child or developmental psychology and graduate courses in areas such as applied behavior analysis and consultation.
- Supervise clinical training for doctoral students completing year-long practicum experiences in a university training clinic or external sites.
- Maintain a clinical caseload to preserve professional skills, provide hands-on training for graduate students, and support clinic operations.
- Collaborate with the Director of the Psychological Service Center (PSC) on new rotations or services aligned with professional expertise.
- Participate in service activities at the department, college, and university levels.
Requirements
- PhD or PsyD in School Psychology (preferred) or in another license-eligible field.
- Active New York State Psychologist licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure within 6 months of the start date.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in clinical supervision and training within a doctoral program.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering belonging and supporting diverse identities in professional practice.
