About the role
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Calculus
- Act as the Course Supervisor for the calculus sequence to ensure uniformity, appropriateness, and continuity of course material
- Mentor and advise students at various academic levels
- Participate in departmental and university service activities
- Consult with other STEM departments regarding the calculus sequence
- Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to support the university's mission
Requirements
- Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field
- Strong undergraduate teaching track record in mathematics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong commitment to teaching and the ability to teach a variety of courses
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative academic environment
