Assistant Teaching Professor - Calculus

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Calculus
• Act as the Course Supervisor for the calculus sequence to ensure uniformity, appropriateness, and continuity of course material
• Mentor and advise students at various academic levels
• Participate in departmental and university service activities
• Consult with other STEM departments regarding the calculus sequence
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration to support the university's mission

Requirements

• Ph.D. in mathematics or a closely related field
• Strong undergraduate teaching track record in mathematics
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to teaching and the ability to teach a variety of courses
• Ability to contribute to a collaborative academic environment
