About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities
- Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
- Supervise children during daily routines, outdoor play, and center activities
- Communicate positively and professionally with families
- Maintain classroom cleanliness, organization, and materials
Requirements
- 18 years or older with a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare center or comparable setting
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Authorized to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
- College-level coursework in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Ohio Career Pathways Level II or Child Development Associate (CDA) certification
