Bachelor's degree, Competitive swimming or coaching experience, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, Lifeguard Certification
About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily practices, meet preparation, and competition strategy
- Provide individual instruction and mentorship to student-athletes
- Support recruitment efforts by identifying and engaging prospective swimmers
- Help monitor academic performance and support student-athlete development
- Ensure adherence to NAIA rules and university policies
- Maintain equipment and assist with team travel arrangements
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Lifeguard Certification (or willingness to acquire)
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting at the collegiate level
- Knowledge of NAIA rules
