Assistant Superintendent - MEP

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate all MEP systems installation, ensuring compliance with project specifications and quality standards
• Provide leadership and oversight to MEP trade partners and equipment vendors throughout all phases of construction
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, monitoring QA/QC programs, and supporting the Energy Control and Safety Program
• Manage punch lists, troubleshoot field engineering issues, and ensure timely resolution of challenges
• Support start-up and commissioning activities to ensure systems are fully operational
• Collaborate with project teams from pre-construction through commissioning and close-out
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, and trade partners

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial construction experience with large, sophisticated MEP systems
• Proven ability to manage workforce requirements and monitor project progress
• Experience managing complex MEP infrastructure projects such as data centers or airports
• Strong communication and leadership skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, QA/QC processes, and commissioning protocols
• Knowledge of safety programs and energy control procedures
