Assistant Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Assist the Superintendent with community job site management and home construction oversight
• Inspect homes daily to ensure quality of workmanship and adherence to plans and specifications
• Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors
• Conduct homeowner orientations and walk-throughs to ensure customer satisfaction
• Supervise and evaluate subcontractors regarding quality, safety, scheduling, and cost control
• Enforce site safety programs and company cleanliness standards
• Manage construction materials to prevent damage, waste, or theft
• Support the construction schedule to ensure timely delivery within budget

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 6 months to 2 years of related construction experience
• Valid driver's license and willingness to drive between sites
• Ability to read construction plans and documents
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
