Assistant STUNT Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with the intercollegiate cheer and STUNT program
• Recruit qualified student-athletes and build community support for the program
• Monitor and track student-athlete academic progress, including weekly study logs and study tables
• Manage weight room tracking and coordinate with the strength coordinator
• Coordinate community service activities and track team service hours
• Manage team inventory, including gear and supplies
• Assist in the planning and execution of clinics, fundraisers, and special events
• Work weekend games, clinics, and scheduled events

Requirements

• Collegiate level playing and/or coaching experience
• Proven recruiting ability
• Demonstrated commitment to working with diverse populations
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and possess excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of NCAA Division III and MIAA compliance and conference rules
• Understanding of the NCAA Division III student-athlete philosophy
• Experience working with underrepresented, first-generation, and Pell-eligible populations
