Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Greet customers professionally in person and over the telephone using standardized service techniques.
• Document customer concerns, inspect vehicles, and refer to service history to identify service needs.
• Recommend services and communicate technician findings to help customers make informed decisions.
• Promote the sale of appropriate services, parts, and accessories.
• Provide accurate quotes regarding cost and completion time, and provide status updates throughout the day.
• Manage the checkout process, including reviewing multi-point inspections and explaining warranties.
• Conduct follow-up calls for completed and declined services to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Track new returns, core returns, and warranty parts.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work a schedule including Monday through Saturday.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per day and walk throughout the building.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs frequently.
• Professional appearance and ability to work in a process-driven environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Service Advisor is helpful but not required.
