Assistant Store Manager, Operations

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational efficiency and manage store-controlled spending, including supplies, packaging, and labor budgets
• Lead and coach the team on operational standards, stockroom maintenance, and opening/closing procedures
• Manage inventory planning, stock-checks, turnover, and loss prevention procedures to minimize shrink
• Execute staff schedules that prioritize the guest journey and maximize productivity
• Oversee payroll management and the use of strategic operational tools
• Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain the physical store space and visual merchandising standards
• Coach and develop direct reports to foster talent growth and improve performance
• Analyze KPIs and retail metrics to create and execute action plans that drive sales and profitability

Requirements

• 3-5 years of retail management experience
• Proven track record in store operations, including inventory, scheduling, and payroll management
• Solid understanding of retail math and the ability to use analytics to drive business decisions
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel
• Ability to stand for long periods and flexibility to work retail hours, including peaks and holidays
• Strong time management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with luxury or high-volume flagship retail is an asset
