About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support the Store Manager in managing fast-paced retail store operations
  • Build, coach, train, and engage the crew team to deliver superior customer care
  • Manage store operations to maximize sales, profits, and customer service levels
  • Oversee inventory protection, asset management, and operational safety issues
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of delivery vehicles, sales floor, and stock rooms
  • Drive NAPA operational and marketing programs to ensure continuous process improvement
  • Grow customer relationships by assisting with sales and service inquiries in-person and over the phone

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school courses/degrees are a plus
  • Experience in the automotive aftermarket industry or a strong willingness to learn automotive products
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer care and building long-term relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and complex work environment
  • Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems
  • Ability to lift 60lbs in certain situations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or automotive dealerships
  • Management experience in a parts store, retail, auto body, or fast-paced food service environment
  • ASE Certifications
  • NAPA Know How
