Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty to oversee staff, handle customer complaints, and manage scheduling in the absence of the Store Manager
• Lead and execute selling strategies to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) and sales targets
• Manage store associates through training programs, goal setting, and regular performance follow-ups
• Oversee daily operations including cash management, till reconciliation, and bank drops
• Maintain store inventory through accurate receiving, transferring, and conducting product counts
• Execute visual merchandising standards, including signage, product recovery, and seasonal displays
• Maintain store technology and equipment such as MPOS and Lids Custom systems

Requirements

• Previous retail supervisory experience
• Proven ability to manage staff and execute sales strategies
• Proficiency in operating MPOS and point-of-sale systems
• Experience with cash handling and inventory management
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and frequently walk
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and occasionally climb a ladder
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
