Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to optimize operations and ensure the store is always customer-ready
• Implement weekly campaigns and improve sales strategies to maximize revenue and competitiveness
• Lead by example through active participation in sales activities and routine store tasks
• Coach and develop team members in customer interaction, needs assessment, and upselling techniques
• Create a positive, high-energy work environment through transparent communication and constructive feedback
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock accuracy, and coordinate replenishment needs
• Handle cash management responsibilities and maintain financial accountability
• Organize staff schedules efficiently to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours
• Resolve customer concerns and conflicts with empathy and professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail team management, motivation, and staff development
• Strong interpersonal communication skills with the ability to inspire and motivate diverse teams
• Demonstrated sales expertise and a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
• Ability to remain calm and provide effective guidance under high pressure
• Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple priorities
• Proficiency in inventory management, cash handling, and basic financial responsibilities
• Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
• Flexibility to work weekends and weekdays to support store operations and customer needs
