Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customer experience by providing regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team
• Lead, train, and develop staff on product knowledge, selling skills, and visual merchandising
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotions, and overall cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom
• Drive sales and profitability by meeting expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion
• Manage payroll and execute loss prevention measures to control company assets
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience in sales and team development with a proven track record of driving results
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts
• High school education or equivalent preferred
