Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customer experience by providing regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
• Lead by example on the selling floor through training, developing, and providing feedback on product knowledge and selling skills.
• Ensure all associates complete training according to company guidelines.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotions, and overall cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Drive sales and profitability by meeting expectations for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Manage payroll and execute loss prevention measures to control company assets.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures while maintaining excellent communication and integrity.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in sales and team development with a proven track record of driving results.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.
• High school education or equivalent preferred.
