Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customer experience by providing regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
• Lead the training and development of store staff, including sales, desk, and stock associates.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotions, and overall cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Drive store profitability by meeting targets for sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Execute company policies and procedures while controlling assets through loss prevention measures.
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously and use sound judgment in decision-making.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience in sales and team development.
• Proven track record of driving sales and profit results.
• Proficiency with personal computers and skills in detailed report analysis.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to act with integrity and respect.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
