Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customer experience by providing regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team
• Train, develop, and provide ongoing feedback to staff regarding product knowledge, selling skills, and visual merchandising
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotions, and overall cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom
• Drive store profitability by meeting goals related to sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion
• Manage payroll and execute loss prevention measures to control company assets
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures

Requirements

• Minimum two years of experience driving sales and profit results
• Proven experience training and developing teams
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds
• Ability to stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts
