Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the customer experience by providing regular assessment, coaching, and follow-up with the team.
• Train, develop, and provide ongoing feedback to associates regarding product knowledge, selling skills, and visual merchandising.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards, promotions, and the overall cleanliness of the sales floor and stockroom.
• Drive store profitability by meeting goals related to sales, payroll, shrink, and conversion.
• Manage payroll and execute loss prevention measures to control company assets.
• Ensure all staff members complete required training per company guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience driving sales and profit results.
• Proven experience in training and developing teams.
• Proficiency in personal computer use and detailed report analysis.
• Ability to lift over 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for 8+ hours during scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
