Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in developing, leading, and motivating the team
• Act as Manager on Duty to ensure exceptional customer experience and brand loyalty
• Proactively communicate with management and cross-functional partners to maximize revenue
• Monitor and coach team members on customer service and selling behaviors
• Supervise store operations including opening, closing, task delegation, and scheduling
• Oversee store finances, including register counts, bank withdrawals, and bookkeeping
• Manage inventory trends, ordering, and stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock
• Maintain proficiency in technology systems such as registers and LeafLogix

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience in a high-paced environment
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience
• Strong business acumen and ability to meet financial KPIs
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry
• Strong leadership, salesmanship, and team management skills
• Proficiency in cash handling and POS operations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)
