Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in developing, leading, and motivating a team to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Act as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, task delegation, and scheduling
• Supervise store money, including register counts, bank withdrawals, and bookkeeping tasks
• Monitor and analyze customer service quality, providing feedback and coaching to team members
• Manage inventory trends, including ordering, stock maintenance, and preventing overstock/outs
• Model selling behaviors and brand ambassador traits to drive revenue and customer loyalty
• Maintain knowledge of technology systems such as registers and LeafLogix

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of retail or customer service experience in a high-paced environment
• Minimum 1 year of retail supervisory experience
• Experience working in a heavily regulated industry
• Strong leadership, salesmanship, and team management skills
• Proficiency in cash handling and POS operations
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays, evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnights
• Strong business acumen and understanding of financial KPIs
• Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in the cannabis industry
