Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to store staff, including supervisors and associates
• Execute plans to enhance employee productivity and performance
• Assist the Store Manager with interviewing, hiring, training, and coaching staff
• Provide day-to-day coaching to ensure staff performance standards are met
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels through effective replenishment and shrink control
• Support the development of action plans to address store sales, safety, and personnel goals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a retail leadership position or specialization
• Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems and other in-store computerized systems
• Strong communication skills to exchange ideas with leadership, associates, and consumers
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and work in an active, physical environment
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including seasonal changes
