Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Work with the Store Manager and Brand Ambassadors to create memorable customer experiences and build brand relationships
• Collaborate on business strategies to drive sales, brand awareness, and community engagement
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and execute corrective actions to meet sales plans
• Mentor and develop Brand Ambassadors through consistent feedback and skill-building
• Assist in recruiting, training, and managing team performance
• Act as the primary leader in the Store Manager's absence to ensure operational continuity
• Manage controllable expenses including payroll, supplies, and shrinkage
• Maintain high visual merchandising and housekeeping standards
• Perform daily paperwork reconciliation and protect store assets/inventory

Requirements

• Two years of retail leadership experience preferred
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and retain a diverse team
• Experience driving sales and improving customer satisfaction
• Understanding of specialty retail, visual merchandising, and store operations
• Knowledge of basic retail math and cash management
• Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Meet) and Microsoft Office
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and climb ladders
• Ability to travel to corporate office or other store locations when needed
