Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Store Manager to recruit, train, and inspire top talent
• Set and monitor clear performance, sales, and accountability goals for staff
• Lead floor operations, including opening/closing procedures and bank deposits
• Manage inventory tasks such as receiving deliveries and maintaining floor displays
• Drive exceptional customer experiences through product knowledge and personalized recommendations
• Provide real-time feedback and coaching to team members to optimize sales results
• Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming store environment for all customers and associates

Requirements

• Significant experience in achieving sales and operational results in a dynamic environment
• Previous management experience, preferably within a retail setting
• Proficiency in a customer-centric retail environment
• Ability to train, motivate, and develop staff members
• High school diploma, Canadian adult education certificate, or equivalent relevant work experience
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability to work peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
