Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Attract, hire, develop, and retain top talent to build high-performing teams
• Partner with the Store Manager to drive sales growth and operational excellence
• Act as Manager on Duty to oversee customer experience, vendor relationships, and maintenance
• Implement floorset direction and maintain visual standards to bring the product story to life
• Lead exceptional in-store experiences by modeling selling behaviors and product knowledge
• Train, coach, and motivate associates to improve individual and team performance
• Manage operational tasks including opening/closing routines, bank deposits, and shipment receipt
• Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to all company safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience delivering sales, customer experience, and operational results
• Prior management experience, preferably in a retail setting
• Customer-first mindset with the ability to foster a selling culture
• Effective communication skills and the ability to provide real-time coaching
• Ability to de-escalate customer or store situations effectively
• Availability to work peak times, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds
