Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Manager to lead daily operations and assume full ownership in their absence
• Lead the sales floor by directing team focus and managing flow to maximize guest experience
• Model exceptional guest service standards and resolve escalated concerns promptly
• Drive retail and rental performance through effective selling behaviors and accountability for key metrics
• Coach, develop, and provide real-time feedback to associates and supervisors
• Oversee rental operations to ensure proper equipment selection, fitting, and safety standards
• Ensure accurate POS operations, cash handling, and inventory management
• Support scheduling and labor management to align staffing with business demand

Requirements

• Knowledge of retail and rental operations, including sales drivers and team workflows
• Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to coach and motivate teams
• Proven ability in conflict resolution and professional performance management
• Ability to lift and carry equipment and merchandise up to 40–50 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
