Assistant Store Manager

Responsibilities

• Exceed personal and store sales goals while facilitating the development of sales skills among team members
• Devise and implement sales strategies to optimize revenue and ensure an outstanding customer experience
• Capture and manage client information comprehensively to build customer relationships
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping, visual merchandising, and stockroom organization
• Enforce inventory security measures by adhering to the company’s loss prevention program
• Assist the Store Manager in coaching, mentoring, and recruiting new employees to enhance team performance
• Oversee operational tasks including opening/closing procedures and inventory management

Requirements

• 1+ years of retail management experience, ideally in an Assistant Manager role
• Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on sales and coaching team members
• Positive, high-energy, and engaging personality with strong communication skills
• Proficiency in retail POS systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Email)
• Ability to lift, carry, or move objects weighing up to 40 pounds and comfort using ladders or stairs
