Assistant Store Leader

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Store Leader to maximize productivity and profitability through leadership and operational excellence
• Model Kate Spade service behaviors and lead a high-energy, client-focused environment
• Drive omni-channel and virtual selling, including clienteling and loyalty programs
• Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent while providing consistent coaching
• Set clear goals and review KPIs such as traffic, conversion, UPT, and AUR
• Execute visual directives and maintain impeccable brand and operating standards
• Oversee daily operations including opening/closing, cash handling, and inventory management
• Manage schedules and payroll budgets to meet business needs

Requirements

• 2+ years of retail management experience in a fashion or lifestyle environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Ability to analyze selling reports and identify business trends
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs and perform tasks like climbing, bending, and kneeling
