About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Leader to maximize productivity and profitability through leadership, coaching, and operational excellence.
  • Model Kate Spade service behaviors and selling standards to lead a high-energy, client-focused environment.
  • Drive omni-channel and virtual selling, including clienteling through outreach and loyalty programs.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop diverse talent while providing consistent coaching and performance management.
  • Set clear goals and review KPIs such as traffic, conversion, UPT, and AUR to drive results.
  • Oversee daily operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and facility security.
  • Manage schedules, payroll budgets, and inventory management to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Maintain brand and visual standards to ensure an impeccable store environment.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of retail management experience in a fashion, lifestyle, or comparable environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and experience with retail systems.
  • Ability to analyze selling reports, identify trends, and react quickly to business needs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly and perform tasks such as climbing, bending, and kneeling.
