Assistant Station Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee efficient operations of an in-airport collection station to support CDC pathogen detection initiatives
• Manage station budgets, monitor expenses, and control labor costs to meet financial targets
• Control inventory levels, implement efficient ordering processes, and minimize waste
• Lead, train, and develop staff to ensure exceptional service and high performance
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including participant numbers and operational efficiency
• Implement new initiatives, processes, and policies introduced by senior leadership
• Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations
• Maintain clear communication and regular reporting to the Area Manager and Sr. Program Director

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in a people management role
• Proven experience in management and operations
• Strong financial acumen and budget management skills
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
