Assistant Sourcing Manager - Furniture

Responsibilities

• Support vendor management and sourcing for upholstery manufacturers and material suppliers
• Coordinate RFPs, compare proposals, and negotiate sample pricing and terms
• Maintain detailed bills of materials (BOMs) and assist with cost analysis
• Coordinate packaging and logistics with suppliers and internal teams
• Use AI-enabled search platforms for supplier discovery and market research
• Serve as a cross-functional liaison between sourcing, design, and operations
• Oversee quality and sustainability standards for samples and vendors

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply-Chain Management, Business, Industrial Design, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply-chain management
• Experience in furniture or consumer goods industries
• Familiarity with furniture construction and materials
• Proficiency with BOMs and ERP/MRP systems or advanced spreadsheets
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 15%
