Assistant Softball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach with practice preparation, scouting, and recruiting student-athletes
• Provide sport-specific coaching at the team, positional, and individual levels
• Help develop and implement clinics, summer camps, and on-campus tryouts
• Maintain official athletic documentation and update team statistics
• Assist with game and practice scheduling and transportation arrangements
• Support student-athletes in integrating the academic, spiritual, and social dimensions of the university
• Maintain professional rapport with students, faculty, staff, and the public
• Ensure adequate supervision for athletes and report facility or equipment issues to the Head Coach

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous coaching experience
• Strong commitment to the mission of Mount Marty University
