Assistant Softball Coach

Responsibilities

• Recruit and evaluate high school and college athletes within NCAA Division III guidelines
• Provide on-field coaching focused on athlete skill development and training
• Assist in planning practice sessions and scouting opponents
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress, including grade reports and study skill development
• Coordinate team travel logistics, including vehicles, lodging, and meals
• Assist with fundraising programs and maintain communication with parents and alumni
• Comply with all NCAA Division III, Southern Athletics Association (SAA), and college guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in physical education, kinesiology, or a relevant field
• Collegiate softball playing experience
• 1-2 years of coaching experience
• Valid state-issued driver's license
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous college coaching experience
• Experience in college recruiting
