Assistant Softball Coach

Responsibilities

• Organize and conduct recruiting efforts, including scouting, evaluation, and managing the recruiting database
• Develop practice and game plans in coordination with the Head Coach
• Provide individual and small group instruction to team members
• Conduct summer camps and talent scouting
• Perform post-game video analysis
• Attend practices, team meetings, and travel with the team for away competitions
• Assist in the planning and execution of team travel plans

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• One year of college-level competitive playing or coaching experience
• Effective leadership skills and ability to represent the University positively
• Proven ability to recruit and retain student-athletes
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Willingness to travel in and out of state and work regular evenings and weekends
