Assistant Site Manager – Owner’s Representative (Wind/Solar)

Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in representing the project owner during construction activities.
• Monitor EPC contractor and subcontractor performance to ensure alignment with project scope, schedule, and contractual commitments.
• Observe and report on key construction activities including civil works, mechanical installation, and electrical systems.
• Assist in reviewing EPC contractor compliance with contract requirements and project milestones.
• Support the management of RFIs, change orders, field technical queries, and punch list items.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support compliance with project HSE policies.
• Maintain site observation reports, daily construction summaries, and weekly progress reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent field experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in construction, infrastructure, or renewable energy projects.
• General knowledge of civil, mechanical, and electrical construction processes.
• Familiarity with EPC contracting structures and construction project coordination.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work in field-based environments with required travel and extended stays at project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with utility-scale wind or solar projects.
• Exposure to substation construction, transmission interconnection, or commissioning activities.
• Experience supporting owner’s representative or developer-side project teams.
• OSHA or equivalent safety certification.
