Assistant Showroom Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Showroom Sales associates, Coordinators, and Customer Service associates
• Drive team performance through ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance management
• Oversee daily showroom operations, including scheduling and workforce planning
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve business results
• Ensure a best-in-class customer experience and resolve escalated customer concerns
• Maintain showroom presentation standards, ensuring displays and product information are accurate
• Partner with vendors and internal teams to support product training and merchandising efforts
• Foster a Safety-First culture and ensure compliance with company policies

Requirements

• Previous leadership experience in retail, showroom, sales, hospitality, or customer service
• Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
• Experience managing daily operations, schedules, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to make sound business decisions in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within plumbing, appliances, lighting, decorative hardware, or home improvement
• Background in interior design or building products
