Assistant Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee industrial operations during normal and degraded functioning modes to maintain plant performance.
• Manage personnel during the shift and ensure strict application of all safety protocols.
• Manage waste reception operations, including pit unloading, storage organization, and weighing.
• Operate and monitor plant circuits including water, steam, air, and fuel systems.
• Utilize supervision tools to manage combustion systems and energy recovery (heat networks, etc.).
• Identify operational deviations, interpret readings, and report anomalies to ensure continuous plant availability.
• Perform site rounds and handle the loading and evacuation of waste and by-products.

Requirements

• DUT in Thermal Engineering and Energy, BTS in Process Control, or an equivalent technical degree.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial plant operations, specifically in thermal production (UIOM, industrial boilers, or thermal power plants).
• Experience working in a rotating shift environment (3x8 schedule).
• Knowledge of incineration processes and auxiliary process control (smoke or water treatment).
• Ability to make autonomous decisions to ensure plant stability and implement safeguard measures.
• Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to safety leadership.
