Assistant Service Contract Resident Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the Contract Resident in managing maintenance and service operations.
• Act as a relief for the Resident to ensure continuity of maintenance management.
• Coordinate and schedule preventive maintenance, including logistics, spare parts, and tools.
• Supervise scheduled, unscheduled, and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Record and update daily maintenance data in systems such as SAP and Powermaint.
• Prepare technical, administrative, and statistical maintenance reports and indicators.
• Monitor workshop cleanliness and compliance with operational standards.
• Support monthly valuations, travel liquidations, and technical reports.
• Promote safety, occupational health, and environmental standards (DS-023 and Law 29783).

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, or Mining Engineering (Titled and Collegiate).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance roles within mining or construction.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning (short, medium, and long term) and fleet control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet tools.
• Intermediate English level.
• Valid A1 Driver's License.
• Availability for atypical shifts and travel to high-altitude mining sites.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using SAP or Powermaint for maintenance management.
• Knowledge of mechanical availability, reliability, and maintenance cost control.
