About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to post-closing to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic sales plans
  • Support the achievement of revenue and market share targets, aiming for targets that cover minimum 3 times the cost to the company
  • Prepare and analyze weekly and monthly sales reports to provide business performance insights
  • Collaborate with internal operations, pricing, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Maintain and update the CRM system with all sales activities, proposals, and client feedback
  • Develop and present proposals, quotations, and tenders while negotiating and closing business deals
  • Support the independent management of a small team to drive sales execution and performance
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to strengthen the company's market position
  • Represent the company at client meetings, industry events, and cargo inspections

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or account management within the logistics or freight forwarding sector
  • Comprehensive knowledge of major freight forwarding disciplines including Air, Sea, and Surface transport
  • Expertise in handling industrial projects, oil & gas, or similar sectors
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and closing skills
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
  • Fluency in English
