Responsibilities

• Lead safety planning and execution in alignment with project leadership and operational goals
• Partner closely with project managers and superintendents to integrate safety into project planning
• Develop, coach, and mentor Safety Coordinators and Senior Safety Coordinators
• Lead planning and execution of high-risk activities such as crane & rigging, energy isolation/LOTO, and critical lifts
• Apply Energy-Based Safety principles to proactively manage exposure to high-risk energy sources
• Review and provide guidance on critical JHAs, MOPs, lift plans, and energy control procedures
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
• Support preconstruction and work planning efforts to mitigate risk prior to execution
• Build and maintain strong relationships with project teams, trade partners, and clients

Requirements

• OSHA 30 required
• BCSP certification (ASP, CSP, or CHST required or in progress)
• Demonstrated experience supporting high-risk construction activities
• Proven ability to lead safety efforts on large or complex construction projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
