Assistant Rowing Coach

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Coach in leading the NCAA Division III rowing program.
• Identify and recruit talented student-athletes who embody university values.
• Assist in planning and conducting team practices and providing technical instruction.
• Support game-day operations, including scouting, game planning, and equipment logistics.
• Enforce team and school policies in compliance with NCAA and conference regulations.
• Participate in fundraising, alumni relations, and community outreach activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Prior coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with technology used in recruiting and coaching.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, engage in active movement, and lift sports equipment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s Degree.
• 5+ years of coaching or playing experience at the collegiate level.
• Advanced knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
• Experience with video analysis software.
