Assistant Restaurant Operations Manager

Responsibilities

• Ensure all guests receive personalized and exceptional dining experiences reflecting authentic Levantine hospitality.
• Supervise daily restaurant operations, including opening/closing procedures, table setup, and ambiance.
• Handle VIP guests and resolve complaints promptly to maintain high guest satisfaction scores.
• Coordinate closely with the kitchen team to ensure timely, high-quality food service and presentation.
• Assist in recruiting, training, coaching, and mentoring restaurant colleagues.
• Manage duty rosters, staff performance, and grooming standards.
• Monitor daily sales performance, revenue targets, and food and beverage costs.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, HACCP, and luxury brand SOPs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury 5-star hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
• Strong knowledge of Levantine cuisine and fine dining service standards.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of wine and beverage service.
• Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience specifically within a Levantine restaurant concept.
