About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the team by example, keeping them engaged and motivated
- Work closely with the Restaurant Manager and kitchen leadership
- Support day-to-day operations including rotas, training, and payroll checks
- Onboard and train new team members on brand standards and safety
- Create a positive and inclusive team culture through coaching and feedback
- Manage floor presence, anticipating guest needs and resolving complaints
- Ensure high standards of food/beverage presentation, cleanliness, and stock control
- Maintain compliance with food safety and licensing requirements
Requirements
- Previous experience as a supervisor or assistant manager in a busy restaurant or bar
- Solid understanding of front-of-house operations and people management
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Confident communicator in English
- Organized, detail-focused, and able to stay calm under pressure
- Passion for hospitality and guest experience
