About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage university classroom usage, instructional facilities, and the course schedule for all academic terms.
  • Coordinate the collection, review, and publication of departmental course schedules, including room assignments and capacities.
  • Provide expert guidance to students, faculty, and advisors regarding academic program requirements, degree progression, and graduation eligibility.
  • Monitor academic progress and degree completion, with a specific focus on non-traditional programs.
  • Interpret and maintain degree audit reports and manage academic policies related to transfer credits, grades, and academic standing.
  • Support registration processes, including waitlists, directed studies, and troubleshooting for new and transfer students.
  • Manage approved curricular substitutions, waivers, and academic exceptions while ensuring data integrity.
  • Oversee graduation application and degree conferral processes and support commencement planning and logistics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (equivalent combinations of education and relevant experience will be considered).
  • 2-3 years of experience in higher education administration, registrar operations, or student services.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with Student Information Systems (e.g., Colleague, Banner, or similar).
  • Knowledge of FERPA regulations and academic policy administration.
  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith and the integration of faith and learning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with degree audit technologies and academic evaluation systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide student-centered customer service in a fast-paced environment.
