Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Support the commercial team across the full project lifecycle
• Manage contracts in line with NEC 3/4 (Options A, B & E)
• Handle subcontractor negotiations, payments, forecasting, and performance tracking
• Manage project risks and conduct site visits for assessments
• Deliver accurate budget, cost, and change reporting
• Produce monthly Cost Value Reconciliation and Earned Value Analysis reports

Requirements

• Minimum 3 A-levels at BCC grade
• 5 GCSEs (9-4/C or above) including Math and English
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Basic understanding of standard methods of measurement
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel
• Familiarity with the construction industry
