Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and submitting interim valuations and final accounts
• Monitor project costs against budgets and forecasts
• Support managing variations and change control processes
• Prepare tender documents and analyze subcontractor quotations
• Assist with subcontractor payments and record maintenance
• Support drafting and reviewing contractual documentation
• Prepare cost reports and assist in monthly commercial reporting
• Attend site meetings and liaise with project teams
• Assist in measuring works on-site and validating progress claims

Requirements

• Degree or HNC/HND in Quantity Surveying or related discipline (or working towards)
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with commercial software such as COINS or Causeway
• Excellent communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cladding remediation or façade works
• Knowledge of JCT or NEC contracts
• Understanding of building safety regulations and compliance requirements
