Assistant Property Manager

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Managers in overseeing a portfolio of commercial properties and resolving building operations issues
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure service contract compliance and manage work order requests
• Manage tenant relations, including scheduling move-ins/move-outs and executing tenant events
• Follow A/R guidelines, including rent payment follow-ups, late fees, and demand letters
• Assist with financial tasks such as invoice coding, monthly reporting, and annual operating/capital budget preparation
• Ensure compliance with lease terms, property owner policies, and governmental regulations
• Process tenant billback expenses and assist with after-hours emergency calls as needed

Requirements

• Valid real estate license
• 2+ years of experience in commercial property management
• Proficiency with real estate software such as Yardi, MRI, Kardin, or AvidXchange
• Basic accounting knowledge and skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent customer service and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
